Rep. Windhorst to Host Free Prescription Drop-off Events in July

METROPOLIS – State Representative Patrick Windhorst (R-Metropolis) will host two free prescription drug drop off events in Southern Illinois this month. On Wednesday, July 15, Rep. Windhorst will join with the Metropolis police department to collect expired or unneeded medications to be properly disposed of. Also on the 15th, Rep. Windhorst will join State Rep. Terri Bryant for a free prescription drug drop off event at the Carbondale Police Department.

Residents may drop off unused, expired, or unneeded medications, patches, vitamins and pet medicines. Restricted items include hypodermic needles and illegal drugs.
