Rep. Windhorst’s Read All About It! America 250 Summer Reading Club

Dear Students and Parents,

As your 117th district State Representative, I want to invite you to participate in my 2026 Read All About It! – America 250 Summer Reading Club. Students reading at least EIGHT books this summer will receive an official Illinois House of Representatives Certificate of Recognition and two tickets (one for the reader, one for a parent/guardian) to a Thrillville Thrillbillies baseball game at Mountain Dew Park in Marion on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, for a special “Night at the Ballpark” celebrating summer readers! Details will be forwarded to summer readers and their parents or guardians upon receipt of completed reading forms.

Rep. Windhorst’s Summer Reading Club Rules!

  1. Representative Patrick Windhorst’s 2026 Read All About It! – America 250 Summer Reading Club challenges 1st through 4th graders to read 8 books during their summer break. Books for local library programs are also acceptable, and books over 150 pages may count as 2 books.
  2. Once a student completes the book reading, please fill out the form and have a parent or guardian verify that the books were read.
  3. Completed forms should be sent to State Representative Patrick Windhorst – 2 N. Vine Street, Suite 5A; Harrisburg, IL 62946 or scanned and emailed to [email protected]
  4.
