HARRISBURG – State Rep. Patrick Windhorst is joining with the Harrsiburg police department for a free drug takeback event on Wednesday, October 6th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. The event will take place at the parking lot across the street from the Presbyterian Annex Building (the Old Salvation Army parking lot).
Medications, vitamins, ointments, lotions, or creams must be contained in sealed, closed containers to be accepted.
Items that will not be accepted include needles, syringes, EPI pens and other sharps, inhalers, aerosol cans, mercury thermometers, illegal drugs including cannabis products, or prescription drugs that do not belong to the individual.
The event is free of charge and individuals participating will remain anonymous.
