Marion, IL – State Representative Patrick Windhorst (R-Metropolis) and State Rep. Paul Jacobs are teaming up with State Senator Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) to bring two Free Senior Health Fairs to southern Illinois. The events will be held back-to-back on September 19th and 20th in Marion and Carbondale.
“I look forward to our senior citizens health and wellness fair every year because it presents me with the opportunity to hear directly from seniors and work directly with health care and senior services providers to connect our citizens with services that they need,” Windhorst said. “I hope all who can make it enjoy a great senior fair!”
“Seniors are incredibly important to our community and I’m excited to host two free Senior Health Fair’s this fall as I realize the impact an event of this size has across my district,” said Senator Fowler. “This is a great opportunity for area seniors to receive free screenings, helpful literature, and connect with local senior service agencies.”
The Marion Senior Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at The HUB Recreation Center located at 917 West Main Street in Marion from 9AM-11AM.
