Rep. Windhorst Earns 100% Voting Record with Technology & Manufacturing Association

METROPOLIS, IL – State Representative Patrick Windhorst is reporting that according to the Technology & Manufacturing Association’s 2023 Legislative Scorecard, he earned a 100% voting record with the TMA. Windhorst says he and 31 other members of the Illinois General Assembly in earning the designation.

“The TMA works hard to educate legislators throughout the Session of legislation that is both good and bad for small and midsize technology and manufacturing businesses in Illinois,” Windhorst said. “Since taking office, I have worked very hard to maintain a voting record opposing tax increases and increased regulations on our employers.”

According to a press release from TMA, their 2023 Legislative Scorecard tracked lawmakers’ votes on HB3129 (Mandated Pay Scale Posting), HB1122 (Freelance Worker Protection Act), HB2862 (Temporary Labor Services Act), HB219 (Punitive Damages—Wrongful Death Lawsuits), HB2473 (Nuclear Energy), HB218 (Deceptive Practices with Firearms), and SB1996 (Manufacturing Mentorship Program).

“The Technology & Manufacturing Association works hard to lower taxes, improve vocational education, reduce business regulations, and keep companies and jobs in Illinois instead of seeing them go to other states,” Windhorst said. “This designation is a reflection of my commitment to voting to improve Illinois’ business and jobs climate, and I will continue that work as State Representative.”
