METROPOLIS, IL – House Republican Floor Leader State Representative Patrick Windhorst (R-Metropolis) is calling for tax relief for Illinois citizens who are paying the highest cell phone taxes in the nation.
“Illinois families were already paying the highest cell phone taxes in the nation,” Windhorst said. “Then, the Democrats dropped another tax hike on telecommunications this summer. We don’t want to be #1 in this area. Illinoisans need relief today.”
