METROPOLIS – State Rep. Patrick Windhorst has announced the winners of his annual Southern Illinois is Beautiful photo contest. The annual contest features both a student and an adult category. Windhorst says this year’s winners are as follows.
“Congratulations to our winners in the 2024 Southern Illinois is Beautiful Photo Contest!,” Windhorst said. “This year’s Student Category Winner is Carley Williams, for her submission of “Steps into the Unknown”. This year’s Adult Category winner is Elzbieta (Liz) Todd for her submission of “The Patch”. This year’s contest featured submissions by some of the most talented photographers in the State of Illinois. I am so proud of everyone and wish my most sincere thanks and congratulations to our winners. These photos will be printed and posted in my Harrisburg, West Frankfort, and Capitol Offices. Congratulations!”
