Windhorst : NGO Spending and Violence Intervention Programs Require Transparency and Accountability

SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Rep. Patrick Windhorst (R-Metropolis) serves as the House Republican Spokesman on the House Gun Violence Prevention Committee. Rep. Windhorst addressed the Committee during the final week of Veto Session to express concern over a lack of transparency regarding state taxpayer-funded Non-Governmental Organizations and various violence intervention programs that receive state funding.
